To welcome the year of the rat, 27 volunteers from CR Construction’s volunteer team and their family and friends gathered with 79 elderly at the Aberdeen KaiFong Welfare Association’s function hall on 12 January 2020 for a festive lunch together. Our volunteers shared happy moments with the elderly from the Aberdeen neighborhood, sending New Year wishes with each other and assisted them at the lunch banquet with traditional Chinese “pun choi”. At the event, the elderly enjoyed Cantonese opera and rope-skipping performances and learnt a few elderly stretching exercises which could bring health benefit.
