To recognize construction professionals’ extraordinary design and execution of temporary works that contribute to exemplary performance in safety of projects, the Development Bureau and the Construction Industry Council co-organized the Temporary Works Excellence Award 2017. The aims of the Award are to encourage experience sharing amongst temporary works expertise and to raise the standards and awareness across Building Works and Civil Engineering Works categories in the construction industry.

Our project named One Hennessy Road is to construct a 32-storey commercial tower at Wan Chai district of Hong Kong, which is going to become an iconic building in this commercial and business district when completed. Due to the complexity of the project, with its unique inverted Funnel form, site access and working space are limited, which places an uncommonly strong emphasis on temporary work design and health & safety planning. Subject to challenges of the project, we proposed a 500 Ton fully covered temporary steel platform to support To support inclined reinforced concrete structure during construction period.
